Ciavolino, a history of quality

CIAVOLINO DANIELE & FIGLI ROMA has got a very long history, starting in 1960 thanks to Daniele Ciavolino, who has turned his passion for the processing of pine nuts (pine cones) into a solid business reality, that is now a market reference point both in Italy and abroad.


the company headed by the three-generation household has grown a lot in Italy and worldwide, thanks to the ability to combine tradition and innovation.

The Ciavolino Daniele & Figli Roma Company handles the whole cycle of high quality pine nuts production.

A modern factory that covers a surface area of about 30,000 square meters allows the company to manage the complete production process: from the acquisition of the fresh pine cones to the finished product (pine nuts) shelled, sorted and packed. Indeed 7,000 sq.m. are used for the processing and packaging, as well as for the storage of pine nuts while the remaining 23,000 sq.m. are used for the storage of the raw material (pine cones).

More recently, the company has made some structural changes, also considering the acquisition of a new warehouse in Portugal and the growing internationalization of its business. Thus Ciavolino Roma International Srl was born: the holding company is responsible for sales on national and international markets for all the products and trademarks owned by the Ciavolino family.
